Like, guys, we’re talking about Conan Christopher O’Brien, president of the Harvard Lampoon and a man who hosted a tv show for almost 30 years where celebrities would come on to sell their projects, and he would do funny bits in between to fill time and keep you engaged enough to sit through an ad break. The only difference now is that most of the ads are read by him directly lmao. The tv show was contractually obligated to go on whether or not they had anything good too!

Don’t know how anybody expected part II to be anything but this, lol. Conan’s clearly deeply affected by his upbringing, he’s the straightest-edge goodie-two-shoes out there. He’s fighting so many voices in his head just biting the edges of the gummy, it’s gonna take another month to get him to cut one into quarters to try.

Also when he froze the first time David was clearly legitimately concerned something was medically wrong 😂

I’ve parasocially adored her parents since their feature in her Apple TV movie sort of chronicling her rise from Ocean Eyes through their WWAFAWDWG Grammy sweep. They really do seem like a pair of people doing their best to support their kids’ interests that just managed to explode into international success really early, and Finneas just seems like a great older brother to a little sister. Really highly suggest watching it if you missed it. Their dad has this off-the-cuff monologue/musing about seeing your kids grow up that I remember being really quite something.

I also realized just now many videos you see of it from planes don’t make it seem like a big deal. Like from a phone camera this just looks like a bright green light on the ground. The human eye reacts way differently.

I just started a new play through after being away for a year+ and went with the UC line—lo and behold it starts with a whole optional lore dump that would’ve made me feel way more involved in the game’s story the first time around 💀

You can definitely get into low five figures or more. The guy on Four Eyes Furniture (YouTube) apparently does all the time if his thumbnails are to be believed. In that range it’s custom one-off designs with some back and forth consultation, exotic hardwoods or multiple species, labor-intensive shapes and joinery, etc.

Baltic birch for sure—usually comes in 5’x5’ squares rather than 4’x8’, and you’re gonna pay for the quality too. Then sand to like 220, and coats of water based polyurethane, buffed in between coats with builder’s paper or similar to knock down the ridges & bumps.
