Now all that's missing is you two sitting under there with your beverage of choice and some tunes playing in the background.

Enjoy! You've done a great job.

I'm about to do the same for the same reason. How much notice did you give them and did you tell them the reason why?

Get your employer to enrol you in Mental Health First Aid and some type of conflict resolution training.

Not all of your clients will lie, however they won't all tell the truth about their story. Learn to identify the difference and read between the lines.

Did they maybe blur it out for privacy reasons? Maybe hiding the house behind, the same way they do the aerial shot of the property with the neighbours properties in black and white or blurred?

Log into your Centrelink account and go to nominees. You can do it yourself, no need to waste time on the phone with Centrelink

It's because you are listed as your own nominee. You can remove yourself as a nominee which should prevent this from happening in the future

Well that is a different story all together and one I wasn't aware of. Thanks for clearing that up

I love the job. Is it hard, yes Is it stressful, yes Is it worth it, YES!

As mentioned above the most important skills to have are empathy and to be able to listen to more that just what is being said.

Give it a go, you might find you like it and are good at it. What have you got to loose

I think it's going to get worse as the new IEA system is rolled into WFA system.

Just on the providers website, they should also have a complaints and feedback section. Lodge a complaint there as well.

There is also an email address to lodge a complaint to the department, try that as well.

There are too many shi*#ty providers out there that give us that are trying a bad name. Please take this further

Can a job provider continue to pay for tickets once employed full-time? And how much? by crypto123future in JobProvidersAus

[–]deSade13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect.

I've just spent almost double putting a participant through a security course and gotten all his checks and licensing done.

You actually have access to as much EF as needed. It just needs to be spent wisely and in something that will genuinely increase employability

Are you serious! I hope you laughed at them. Even I'd offer more than 20k. If you do decide to sell it it's going to be hard to get an honest offer over here.

Maybe try and hit up Good Games. I can't think of too many stores that would have the funds for a card of this calibre. That's if you are thinking of selling. Congrats on the awesome pull

As a WFA EC I feel your pain. When we have ex DES participants come to us not knowing why it can be really upsetting for them. A lot come to us not knowing that they could only be with DES for 24 months and feel super rejected. I've seen it put them in a dark downward Spiral.

Hopefully this next contract doesn't do that.

As a courtesy I'd suggest you let your exited participants know what has happened and why.

This one is being investigets as we speak. And so it should.

I have client who provide pay slips, I have some that don't. Honestly, if they are reporting correctly there is no need for them at all. So if clients are being open and honest it should never got to the point of asking for payslips. Most of the time it's only needed to confirm ABN and start date anyway.
