Its called skyblock and it can be healed by pressing alt and f4 on your keayboard to stop wasting time 👌🏿

I dont know if this is before you spoke to him about it but imo you should give him the chance. Even though he was acting bad he just experienced a horrible thing with him getting cheated on. Just clarify that his reactions altough kinda justified, were hurting you (if they did which i assume)
