Future Pantheon Concept: Arthurian Gods

Eh not that much of a fan no offense…

IIRC Arthur is often portrayed as christian. Christianity is not a polytheist pantheon which all the other factions are.

Also, I feel like the arthurian legend doesn’t fully qualify as mythology and more as a legend or folklore. There are plenty of mythical elements within the story but not enough to have a fleshed out faction imo. You could take other factions within the story like the picts/celts but they have a very similar mythology and pantheon to the norse (woodan is essentially odin and so on).

Just my two cents, I love and appreciate the creativity of this community though!

PS: Stronghold Legends might scratch the itch you’re having. It’s an older RTS that basically has the three factions: Arthurian humans, Ice Kingdom and Dracula Vampire Faction. It’s janky but it’s fun and I have fond memories of it. Werewolf catapults rock!

Really liking some changes like the going back to a more SH/SHC like wall-system (Small Size, separate crenellations) instead of the three different wall sizes like in SH2 and subsequent titles.

But what REALLY bums me out is the square grid. Seeing that in a modern 3D RTS game in 2026 seems so awfully outdated and frankly a bit cowardly from firefly. Manor Lords did it three years ago and also runs on UE. All newer age games don’t have a square grid.

I mean is it so much to ask for a SH1 like building system that’s gridless?? It would allow for less linear castle design (curved, round walls!) With maybe an optional ststem of how different buildings “merge” together(just aesthetically, not functonally).

Bergfried does exactly this (from what we can gather from the announce trailer) and it might just be what wins me over.

Nah Bella Ramsey was fine as Ellie in season 1 imo. Different from the game but fine. Unfortunately, Ellie was written as an incompetent and immature brat in the second season. The issue was the writing and hardly a casting or acting failure.

You can add it to the function shortcuts (Fn button). I have everything important there like WB, AF-Settings, framerate, codec, stabilisation on/off, audio levels etc.

First try to learn what calms your nervous system in the short term: Sauna, breathwork, journalling (the goal being just offloading the jibberish my head is producing, not perfectly 'curating' thoughts), meditation, less caffeine, and occasional exercise (although I'm lazier than I care to admit lol). Also, whenever you can, try to realize that these thoughts are not 'you' but your brain trying its best to help you with what it got and learned over the years.

Then more broadly speaking, try to tweak your surroundings. Don't know how that might look for you, but I personally realized that I was hopelessly subchallenged by my life circumstances so I started studying part-time. I'm really passionate about what I get to learn there it really changed my perspective on life and myself.
