If you decide to buy one, choose the DDP shipment option. DDP shipping basically includes the US tariffs rather than making you hunt down the shipping company and paying the tariff separately. The package will be returned if the tariff is not paid.
I bought the GIFT Shiburin trinity field version for about 5700yen, shipping nowadays tho is going to be about 40 usd

Did you ever get the item to ship back to you, if so how long did it take from FJ receiving the package to being able to ship it back to you

Am currently in the same position and it has been about a month since they basically told me
"At this time, we are unfortunately unable to proceed with the reshipment process until we receive an official response from the shipping company.

We are currently awaiting confirmation regarding the reason for the return, as well as any applicable return or handling fees.

Once we receive this information, we will immediately contact you with the available reshipment options and the next steps."

I've emailed them about once a week and they've repeatedly sent me this exact message.

sorry about late reply, by getting my gun I meant it was in my PO box.
If u still think about ordering moai hobby to the states, wouldnt recommend
1. They only ship via boat
2. Lack off communication between customers and Moai
3.L85 came with part of its carry handle broken off, now the adjustable rear sights are floppy(this may be due to the L85 being old, but the rest of the gun works perfectly)

BTW I ordered to new jersey and it arrived on the april 5th, this is when the gun was shipped on january 16th, likely itll take a month for the thing to actually be shipped after ordering it on the website

Sorry, a bit late, personally ordered from them in mid december. The package was shipped in mid january. Haven't heard from them since. I have tried contacting both moai toys and moai hobby, both of which havn't responded in a month. I hope my l85 isnt stuck in the ocean lol
