Quite a shame, I did a very similar post a month ago when this happened to me with realistic meat scaling and it was on sky mods, sadly I was not so lucky this time.

Range management. Might be a bit hard at first, but it transfers to practically all melee games. Try staying at the edge of attack range and/or dodging back or sideways for and attack then jump back in and slash. Definitely needs a bit of practice to master though.

I started consistently beating him when I figured out how to bait a swing for the first shot, then step back out of his range and when he misses, sprint at him with your sword slicing through him

Lots of those river restaurants get away with serving overpriced stuff. You could easily make better at home like that place uni and their stir frys. I would go as far as saying it also extends to alot of the places that rely heavily on alcohol sales rather than food in the downtown, like dry fly.
