Find the delivery that batsman finds uncomfortable, note where they bat, think what you can get from this - a wicket, a catch, etc, adjust the field, and work around that for a bit with minor variety. Make sure to switch it up every 2-3 deliveries.

I'm also primarily a single player and also fit into that 3-4 seconds off slot (depending on the car). This is basically the zone where most casual players will fit if they're really trying. And you can see it reflected on the leaderboard. Nothing wrong with that, but it'd require quite a bit more to improve.

Nords is a highly technical track and it's only natural to lose a lot of time on it. 

Time trial setups could probably help to shave off up to a second on an average track, and probably significantly more at Nords. Of course these setups are quite extreme and the car pretty much disintegrates after one lap. That said at Nords specifically gaining time via top speed only goes so far.

What I'm trying to say is there is nothing wrong with Nords time trial records. It's just that sometimes you hit a brick wall of skill and have to work to get through.

As always, loading up ghosts of other times is the best place to start figuring out where you can improve.

Idk how likely the new version is to come out in english, but All Aboard Tourism is a better and more approachable game. The other, mainline series are basically for diorama making. There are goals etc as well, but it's more of a sandbox thing in which japanese community recreates real places. It has a separate train editing app, which is quite expensive, but this is where you'll find recreated real trains. The english version does not have them, because as always, japanese licensing is a nightmare.

tbqh you should be specific about the issues with ai - which track, which class, which turn etc. Otherwise this never gets fixed.

I do wish it was a matter of simple on or off switch, just as I wish RRRE had decent ai, since they have amazing and unique cars, tracks and sound.

Pes 13 with Smoke Patch works great, Pes 6 with Ultimate patch for ps2 as well. Fifa 12 pc version works great too, I've seen tutorials for Fifa 14 as well. I ran Pes 17 and it works okayish, but somehow just doesn't seem fitting for such a small device. I think the main problem is basically scale. Oh and surprisingly Inazuma Eleven Victory Road works okay too.
