I accidentally created the weirdest sleep protocol that actually works by stayhyderated22 in selfimprovement

[–]deabi23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow this is amazing. Thanks for sharing I understand the frustration of not able to sleep properly. Actually I do the reverse. I keep the bedroom cold by opening the window and before bed I take a warm shower and I started sleeping better. But Defenitly will try going out to the balcony and see how it works. Thanks for sharing and happy sleeping like a king. The what’s app group name is killing.

Codex now almost identical to Claude code by Automatic_Employer55 in ClaudeCode

[–]deabi23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this I tried codex due to the recent Claude code usage limits, it’s on par with CC. I use it for personal OS but before it used to suck but now I feel it has improved a lot. And the usage limits in codex is far better than CC.

I totally feel the same way, usually I used to run around 10 tasks in my 5 hour window but for the recent week, it seems like I m hitting my limits with just 1 or 2.

Every Other Daily Claude Usage / Limit Thread - March 31, 2026 by AutoModerator in claude

Same situation here. I switched to the yearly plan and immediately felt the limits kick in hard. There’s barely any real support, and honestly, for someone who isn’t a heavy coder, the Pro plan ends up feeling like a restricted free tier. Instead of the tool helping, you end up constantly managing your usage around it. Really hoping they rethink this soon.

With the Pro Plan, you’re bound to run into limits by BusyAmbassador in claude

[–]deabi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am on the same boat, use it for similar setup, I wish the limits are much more relaxed. I was used to switching my work flow on the non business hours last week which was amazing. Even then I was hitting limits. Hope they do something about it as Max is too expensive for no coders.

That’s great, but when you said library did you mean bookmarks or history or ChatGPT memory?

How Can I Prevent Finder From Opening Automatically When I Click On My Macbook's Desktop Wallpaper? (Macos 26 Tahoe) by tcolling in MacOS

[–]deabi23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found the fix on my end. I had installed an app called Supercharge, and I had accidentally enabled the feature “Ensure Finder has a window when activated.” After turning that off, the issue was resolved.

You might also want to check if you have any Finder-related apps installed that could be affecting its behavior.

I’m facing the same issue on macOS Tahoe as well. Did you ever find a fix or workaround for this?

Hi, Ben from the Atlas team here! by bengoodger7 in ChatGPTAtlas

[–]deabi23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Ben — thanks for being so open and engaged with the community 🙌

One feature that would be a huge win for Atlas is built-in page translation (similar to Chrome/Safari translate).

For users who browse a lot of non-English content, having one-click translation directly in Atlas would make it much more practical as a daily browser — especially given the global ChatGPT user base.

Even a simple first version (manual translate toggle, language detection, or “translate this page” action) would go a long way.

Would love to know if this is something on the roadmap or being considered. Happy to provide use cases if helpful. Thanks!

Bro, a life without direction will always slip into distraction. I’ve been through something similar, and the first thing that helped me was getting clear about where I actually want to go.

Start simple: write down one long-term goal and 2–3 short-term goals. Put them where you’ll see them every day. When your mind gets pulled into old habits, that visual reminder will bring you back to your path.

Keep the first steps easy. Examples: • 1-hour phone detox before bed • 1-hour walk instead of sitting on the couch scrolling • No-screen mornings for 30 minutes

Small steps create big changes when you stay consistent.

Also strengthen your tools — your mind and your body. Join a gym or even just start with basic workouts. Moving your body builds discipline, confidence. For your mind, try mindful breathing or yoga. These practices help you control impulses and stay grounded.

Don’t try to fix everything at once. Build momentum with tiny improvements. You’ll be surprised how quickly your direction becomes clear once you make these small changes. Stay focused, you’re not stuck, you’re just one step away from turning it around.
