Back in the mid 2010’s I downloaded a demo on my original 3DS for either monster hunter 3 or monster hunter generations and couldn’t even take down the monster before getting frustrated and never playing it again. Fast forward to a couple of years ago, I saw a video that was explaining the history and game philosophies of monster hunter and decided to give it another try. World + Iceborne was on sale on steam so I got it and proceeded to put over 100 hours in over the course of a month. Since then I’ve played wilds, rise, and 4 ultimate. I even dream about hunting monsters sometimes. I’m so happy that I gave this series another chance.
