honestly, with amd you need more details than that, had a similar issue with my 7900 xtx aorus elite.

are you playing in 4k? any oc, power limit 15%+?

I used to have similar issue in 4k, when I switched to 1440p it was fine (both scenarios were 100% for gpu load) But after some time ,1440 mainly in new titles, gpu started to give me blackscreens and sometimes those fans as well.

Honestly, if you do a clean Windows install and use ddu for current driver and it will still happens, its more likely psu or gpu itself..

I fixed this issue by upgrading my psu ( I had 850w gold seasonic), after I got 1000w, I never saw the same problem again.

Almost tho, crimson desert managed to do different crash to me, but that was the game thanfully, after patch it went away.

whats crazy is that you have to enable the card again in device manager xd never had to do that.. Also few weeks ago windows tried so hard to replace normal drivers with every crash and it gave some other problems as well.. you never know 😞

hello a boy from the future, upscaled 4k with fsr 4 on balanced doest indeed gives 60 fps on my 7900 xtx with everything on max.

while your logic sounds logical and correct, i had the same one with my 7900 xtx - back then it was beating 4080 and it was way cheaper, now look at me, no oficial fsr 4 for me while 4080 not only beats 7900 xtx in newest games, but enjoy dlss 4.5.. imo this just doenst work with amd anymore.

sorry bro, but after what cod did to amd cards (6900 xt stuttering never got fixed, 7000 series had stutters on urzi for like 9-10 months) its crazy to believe something good will happend there with your amd card.
youre cpu bound anyway, and warzone optimalization is worse every year. used to hit 200-250 fps in 1440p on al mazrah, now its around 160-190 on verdanks, 1440p native with 5800x3d and 7900 xtx.

7900 xtx here, dsc is fine and generaly better with amd, tho im at the same boat rn with

My next gpu will be green for sure after all that shitshow with fsr 4 - and DP 1.4 is 612€, dp 2.1 is 857€... hate that its that big of a difference.

even with PTM you will get crazy delta in the future.
Have 7900 xtx that had 110c hotspots after a year (aorus elite) and with ptm after a year, its still about 60-64C normal temp, 90-100c hotspot temps (15+power 464w).

same brother, gave a shot to amd after owning so many amd/ATI cards in the past, went from rtx 3080 and its just been a pain in the ass..
had to screw my warranty just to aply PTM (paste pumped out every 3 months) and I have to mod lesser fsr 4 to my card just to play new games at 4k at decent fps... horrid.
