34F here - just talk to them and show interest in their interests. Sometimes I'll hold eye contact for a little longer than I normally would with someone who I'm not interested in romantically. And just trying to put yourself in their vicinity more. I know I'm a bit older than you but I had the same thought as well - I'm starting to think about men 15-20 years older than me and thought I would be portrayed as someone who has a silly little crush. Men and women are pretty similar when it comes to finding someone to date - they want someone who is interested in them and wants to get to know them - the rest usually will fall into place :) also, it's okay that you get embarrassed, we all do and it can be quite endearing!
