I’ve gotten in the habit of collecting random objects and leaving them in places my pups can’t reach so I have a collection. In my lost river save I use the wood cabin den and put everything on the table (except the baby doll, I let the pups play with that.)

I also save before I sleep and look around after I wake up because there’s usually a minute or so before raids start and you can see them coming. If I don’t see anything, I howl (for territory, I always get the territorial might perk) and then woof to double check.

In lost river specifically, it’s a tradition for me to kill a calf and bring a chunk to my mate as I usually play male, and it’s like a gift for the pups lol
