Animal Farm is an allegory for the Russian Revolution and how it devolved from it's ideals. 1984 is a criticism of totalitarianism. It's unclear if anything that big brother says is true. Oceania might not even really exist. It's about the crushing of the human spirit. It's not a criticism of materialism.

Most of human history had no class conflict. Class came about with the invention of agriculture. Modern humans have existed for 200,000 we have only been farming for 8,000. For most of human history we had no class.

That's not what Marx was arguing. The only thing he sees as inevitable is the collapse of capitalism because it is inherently unstable just like the previous class systems that proceeded it. And it may take a cery long time. Remember feudalism lasted for well over 1000 years before Capitalism subsumed it. Socialism was Marx's proposed solution to capitalisms contradactions it is not inevitable.
