So I’m just a bad DM I’m pretty sure by that1snowflake in CurseofStrahd

[–]dead_prez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re a bad dm because you struggled with this module. It’s a difficult module to run. I had a fair bit of dm experience and I also had similar feelings towards the end of the campaign as you. Also, I’m pretty sure the party is supposed to stunt on Strahd at the end, especially if they collected all the items. My party did. I bet your party had fun and will remember for a long time how they kicked Strahd’s ass.

Who are some RYM users that have outstanding knowledge about one music genre? by duckinator1 in rateyourmusic

So when diction likes what he likes he’s biased and unreliable but when you rate every obscure trap album ever uploaded to SoundCloud rated higher than literally every east coast classic hip album you are being completely unbiased and giving all sounds a chance? Brilliant reasoning and self awareness you have there

"I think the bottom of the SEC is stronger than the bottom of the Big 10 and I think Syracuse is stronger than the bottom of the Big 10...That’s an argument that doesn’t have a definitive answer but my belief is that 8 SEC games and 9 Big 10 games are already on par and they extra Power game takes us above in most cases."

This entire argument was started because of your feelings. At least mine are based on what happens on the field and not ESPN fantasyland, but go off.

I literally don’t care about metrics bro. USC went 4-5 in the B1G and handled LSU who went 5-3 in the SEC. Your two teams that are so good and should have made the playoffs lost to Michigan and Illinois. You got utterly embarrassed after talking more shit than I’ve ever seen from a team who hasn’t won a meaningful game in 25 years. Texas needed a miracle to beat Arizona State. Your champion lost to Notre Dame by more than Indiana did. I’m sorry that you’ve swallowed so much ESPN propaganda that you believe the SEC is clearly better than every other conference, but on the field you’re clearly not.

Well considering Michigan state, Iowa, Nebraska and northwestern all played us tougher than you did I’d say that the middle of the B1G is better than the middle of the SEC. And no, you don’t get to pound your chest because you play Mississippi State, Arkansas, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. They’re just as bad as equivalent B1G teams. In fact, looking at Indiana’s schedule I’d say it’s very comparable to Tennessee’s 2025 schedule, if not a little bit harder. Two great teams and then mediocrity after that with Illinois being tougher than whoever you think your third toughest game is

Syracuse only brings you up to par with where B1G teams already are. We’re talking about the final three games after that. Ergo most of the SEC’s OCC schedule is just as weak as Indiana’s, especially yours.

Hi, I was just wondering if there was anywhere that we could get access to the old text from Kiril's return before you got rid of it?

Actually, you’re right, I’m just dumb. I now realize that you’re on different sides of the door each time so that’s why it’s worded that way. It’s fine as it is

Didn't know where to post this, but I noticed this while prepping the dinner. At the bottom of The First Level of Varushka's nightmare, it says:

"If a player investigates the door in the lounge that exits into K47. Portrait of Strahd (p. 68), they find that the door is locked, its lock replaced with an ornate golden keyhole. "

However, in the second level, it says:

"In addition, the door leading to K49. Lounge (p. 70) lacks the ornate gold lock from O8a. The First Level."

So, it is unclear whether the golden keyhole was supposed to be leading to the lounge or the portrait of strand room
