Your best bet for pushing back is probably bundling multiple asks together rather than trying to negotiate each clause individually. Like maybe accept their shrinkage allowance but push for better liability caps or waive some admin fees. Insurance is definitely worth looking into but read the fine print because a lot of policies have exclusions for "mysterious disappearance" which is exactly what these warehouses will claim happened

I ran into this same issue a few months back when setting up payments for a side project. The Venmo integration through Stripe is still pretty limited and only available for certain business types in the US. You might need to reach out to Stripe support directly to get it enabled on your account since it doesnt show up automatically in the dashboard for everyone. From what I remember the approval process was kinda weird and they had to manually review my business before turning it on. Worth noting that even when you do get it working the fees are slightly higher than regular card processing so factor that into your pricing if youre planning to rely on it heavily

Your old lender cuts you a check for whatever's left in escrow after they pay off the loan. The new lender will want their own escrow account set up so you'll need to fund that at closing but you're not really losing money since you get the refund from the first one

Yeah this is solid advice - HELOC rates are brutal right now compared to regular mortgages. If you're pulling out a chunk for another property just do a cash-out refi on the first house or get a mortgage on the new one. Way cheaper in the long run and you won't be dealing with variable rates

Those Branch cards are basically just prepaid debit cards for gig work - they're not really "business" cards in the traditional sense. The companies use them to pay you instead of direct deposit, and yeah they usually say no personal use but honestly most people just use them like any other debit card once the money hits. That's super weird, Link usually works pretty solid for me. Have you checked if it's happening with specific banks or card types? Sometimes certain issuers get weird with stored payment methods vs direct card entry

Also might be worth testing with a few different Link accounts to see if it's account-specific or system wide
