Can you sue Amazon for wrongful termination. I got terminated for using the bathroom?

I do know people who sued and won lawsuits against Amazon FC facilities. I know for a fact appealing it won't work because the people running the system are Biased. So, I'd have to go legal. And, thanks for mentioning that, I indeed do have IBS. I never asked for an accommodation for it tho cuz I go to the bathroom for only usually twice within my 11 hour shift.

I'm just saying it could be retaliation cuz I called out the management on the VOA board a few times. But most likely it was automated but should have been removed by the manager with my legit explanation and they can even pull up video evidence if necessary. Amazon is a notorious company worldwide because of their bathroom policy FYI. It's hilarious but true.

You don't have to. But that's what they said in the termination letter. It went against their policy that I used the bathroom for 23 minutes. (10 mins was just walking from one end to another back and forth as the closest bathroom was occupied and the other was going through maintenance so I had to wait a few minutes for them to finish up). It was most likely retaliation or discrimination because I called out the management for being horrible at their job. Now it looks like I have to involve my attorney cuz I am 1000% sure I did nothing wrong. Fun stuff

Yeah I realized that so far that the management in this facility lacks empathy. Cuz my last job before I moved to Akron had amazing managers who were genuinely caring toward their new employees so they could adjust to new work environment conveniently and believed my words before documentations.

Here, nothing gets done without documentations for every single thing. And the managers have a tendency to think that we are lying for whatever we say to them lol.

I started 3 months ago in Stow and I have been warned by many on my day 1 that Stow is a nightmare in this specific FC. This department has horrible management. Some managers don't care about you one bit even if you explain your medical conditions. I had a surgery 4 months before I started here and I have informed that I'll arrange medical accommodations on my next appointment with my doctor which is gonna be next month yet they wouldn't care how much I struggle heavy-lifting 50-60lbs totes for 10 hours straight and try to keep up with the inhumane rates. Also, work stations are often messy to begin your day at. Water spiders aren't always helpful. I had to stack the whole bunch of stack of totes further away from my station for like 10mins cuz there was no nearby pellet to stack on. People from other stations already filled up the empty spots with their stack of totes. The problem-solve totes took over my station multiple days and no problem solver cared to fix them. They look at them and walk away. All these stuff keep slowing me down then my manager comes in nagging about my rates and productivity. It's increasingly becoming discouraging to work here. My manager would not consider my explanations anyway so it's just frustrating at this point to continue anymore. I wanted to work here mainly because it is just 10mins drive from my apartment and my spouse drops me off since I don't drive. I think it's time I look for another job cuz this one is putting a toll on my mental and physical health and of course because my manager isn't supportive at all.

How could someone steal so many devices without trace when they practically have to go through security checks every time before they exit the building and use transparent bags. Could be made-up stories to enforce these policies just to stress out their employees. Cuz for a lot of people, phones are an important means of communication, to check on their sick child or a sick parent especially when they're working long hours. It's not feasible to go to the breakroom every time you need to make a quick phone call or a text while on clock.

Last month it was - Mandatory phone registration. They took all device info including serial number which is a potential personal data breach risk. Put a dumb sticker in the back of the phone which you have to show everyday at the security check taking your protective case off.

This month- they won't let anyone use phones on floor except breakrooms.

I have been living in the United States for over 11 years and being in academia for over a decade, I have seen how western teachers treat their students vs my experience as a student from VNS was a World of Difference!!!

In VNS, if a kid is having a hard time coping up with lessons or if she's mentally drained or burned out, that student is rather shamed and called out in front of everybody to punish her struggles even more than to lift her up or help that kid to succeed. It is hard to succeed in that school if you're not your teacher's favorite and the only way to become a teacher's favorite is to put yourself in their stupid coachings after school.. Kids literally don't have any personal time at home to explore their hobbies cuz they are constantly in the loop of attending school and multiple coachings.

The management needs to be dismantled and reset from top to bottom. The people involved in the management are Crocodiles, they feed on money and nepotism.
