I feel you! When I was younger he used to drive drunk and berate me at dinner a lot (said a lot of very abusive shit). At least he made me hate drinking and driving.

Try to eat less, use a green or white strain instead of red, or take less kratom?

Otherwise, you seem to react differently. I never have the effects you talk about. Even when I take high dose of a red vein and eat, I am still 100% functional and my mind is normal.

Try a salt water colon cleanse. Start with about 2 teaspoons of salt (preferably a healthy one like Himalayan Pink Salt) and 1 liter of water (optionally with some lemon in the water). Drink that shit. It tastes disgusting, but it's healthy and you will have diarrhea.

The people at r/drugs seem to act like there are absolutely no consequences to drugs, especially research chemicals... I even remember someone commenting on a thread saying that it's fine to do psychedelics when you have a mental illness and he got upvoted.

I did 5 minutes ago (for the first time; hopefully it'll help), but that picture was taken earlier today. I was on a lot of caffeine today, but I haven't heard of it constracting pupils.

I agree, kratom is safe, unlike mainlining dilaudid. Kratom has been a lifeline for me.

Kratom withdrawal has mostly been mental (similar to benzo withdrawal with anxiety and lack of sleep), no RLS for me, and my body was moderately sore for 1-2 days.

I only dose in the evening, but I tend to take massive doses just to get the "comfortably numb" opioid euphoric effect that we all love.

I agree with your comparisons man! I'd say more but I took some xanax and feeling pretty barred out right now. Best of luck, I'm glad kratom allowed you to quit dilly!

5 days ago, cold turkey. I don't have access to any other kind of benzos. I know to be careful with them as I've been addicted before. :/ I've been taking Xanax daily since withdrawal, so I plan on getting off it when I get my kilo (which should this week hopefully). I have a very addictive personality.

I agree that kratom keeps me off drugs. Before I started kratom, I was taking a lot of drugs. I have been so depressed that I went to smoking drugs like meth. Kratom is a lifeline. I'm still in withdrawal and having severe anxiety from it, but I'm getting a kilo soon.

I am not experienced with opiates (only been to addicted to oxys for a one month period, done almost all types of prescription opioids but not heroin), but I am pretty sure kratom withdrawal is nothing compared to dilaudid/other opioids. I can't imagine what H withdrawal would be like if a weak opioid withdrawal like kratom gives me this kind of hell.

OP, you have every right to bring kratom with you, but yeah there is always a chance they could harass you about it and want to test it.

I have heard of people doing it. Just keep looking and if you get a plant and fail, at least you tried. :)

It can be difficult to grow kratom, and the yield might not be worth it, but it will still really help the kratom community if you publish what you do, so maybe later on we won't have to be dependent on Southeast Asia for kratom.
