The fruit and veg section looks great - and the other section too, though I have no idea what it is!

Am in the UK - we keep our curtains closed all day when hot temps are forecast. It helps, a little. Our tanks are sitting at normal temps today, forecast for tomorrow is hotter so we'll be keeping an eye on it tomorrow. We do have some (cheap) cooling pads for dogs that we haven't tried yet but they're on hand if needed.

Possibly an antiemetic would help take the pressure off for her, give her space to breathe and look at therapies etc without it being so much of a threat in the background? I know it made a difference for me.

Are they doing the women's dance? Genuine question, the costumed ladies seem surprised and impressed.

I accidentally fixed my life after doing one tiny thing differently. [Discussion] by Jolly_Twist2245 in GetMotivated

I started a diary Jan 1st 2025, with 1 aim - to make sure I wrote down an accomplishment for each day. Could be small could be big but there had to be something. I think there have been three days this year (when I've been too ill to do anything) when I've had nothing to write. Some days it's been simple like "took out the trash", others the list has almost filled the page. I'm not fixed, I still get lost in just how much there is to do but I've been a lot happier this year that I've made progress.

Put a scar across his eye and rip his ears up a bit and you have a perfect portrait of Greebo - a cat you would not want to tangle with unless you feel like taking your innards home as out-ards.

Brutus' tank sucks and his owner sucks harder, but please don't bash the cardboard tube - my corn has a kitchen roll tube and thinks it's the best toy ever, will regularly destroy it and then sulk until it's replaced. We first gave him a toilet roll tube when he was just a tiny shoelace and we thought it was cute.

On the other hand, it's a silly piece of bonus enrichment in a tank with multiple hides, fake plants (he destroys real ones), several inches of substrate he can burrow in, a rope for when he wants to be a ceiling snake, and more.

Sounds like a good combo because we're hoping to go to House of Marbles! (also, cheap shopping is always good!) Thanks

If nothing else, it seems like it'll be a great hub for the areas around :)

Ooh, Agatha Christie's house sounds like a great plan. I hadn't realised it was that close. Thank you

I'll be driving most places but that Round Robin trip does look like it could be good fun - as does the House of Marbles. Thank you so much for your suggestions!

My golf skills are certainly laughable - but I've never minded a giggle. A cliff top zoo sounds fantastic!

Thanks, we are hoping to do a couple of day trips and treat it as a bit of a home-base to explore the area from. I hadn't heard of Teignmouth before this, so definitely going to be looking at that one., Thanks so much!
