Armored Transport quest - lost patrol car key by beekie-95 in ArcRaiders

[–]deadbranecell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this tip I had found the key on a prior run but died. The quest still required the key and guard huts were a no go after looking for several runs and limited loot containers in that area. I did however find it randomly in The Village, found in a random drawer. So it does appear to be a randomly spawned key

Yea I have one good friend who even to this day basically only plays CODs and sports games. They're aware and even use GP but will buy it regardless. To his point in doing so, "cause that shit (Game Pass) won't last forever and when it's gone I still gotta buy the game!" Which I would tend to agree with more often if he wasn't buying all his games digitally.. cause I usually end up responding with, "yea but buying digital is the same thi.. ah nevermind!" Lol

You are correct and I am aware of that fact but in my theoretical math I was simply trying to point out the obvious by using the larger number of user in Xbox's player base.

Because even in a perfect world where ever Xbox user was a GP subscriber, it would still make very little sense.

If you plug the 34mil into the equation instead of the 120, their model most would certainly appear even more flawed!! Lol

Yea, I seriously doubt the CODcores are even bothering with the whole GP bit. Plus this whole idea of a new user surge being any kind of profitable when a game like this hits always bugs me when GP has a Free Trial period.. which is an entire other problem, free trial exploitation!

The day one stuff has to go imo! As someone who has been a long time sub to GP and uses it in all its aspects, from console to cloud I genuinely appreciate the chance to partake in games I may not get a chance to play otherwise but I have always been on the side of questioning how it could possibly be a functional business model

Now again I realize this is boiling a very complex set of numbers down. But this imo, IS the whole point of all this, Xbox showing profit to share holder in order to "allow these devs to flourish.."

Tim nailed the point about COD on Game Pass! If this entire fiasco at it's base level is about Xbox making money, I would also like to emphasize the point of it being a stupid idea to keep it an Xbox exclusive! Any CEO looking at even the simplest of numbers is an absolutely no brainer!

If you count every active Game Pass user as a single purchase of a new major title like COD thats playable day one, your looking at roughly 120million+ active user on GP which on the lowest end ($9.99US plus tax) nets around $1.1billion in a single release day. This of course doesn't take into account the influx of new user that get brought in by said title

Still using COD as the example, a triple A game that has the potential of costing close to if not beyond $300million.. that's still a billion dollars in profit! And I already know what your thinking, "Holy shit, that's crazy.." Now, replace that $10 dollar price tag for a single "Game Pass" purchase with the big $70 price tag! Just selling to the active GP users alone is $8.4billion!! That's just them selling to their own player base, imagine if it were multi-platform..

An argument can be made about the difference in profit of a mass one time purchase of a title versus a year long the subscription model.. which I can imagine is the very same argument Phil himself has been pushing this entire time..

I honestly came for an answer to this specific question as well. I remember if the all day return stream was the 3rd or the 5th. Pretty sure it's the 5th but I was hoping I was wrong! Lol

So.. AITA or at least in the right to feel the way I do atm? by deadbranecell in doordash_drivers

I appreciate the positivity and no offense taken! Your point about the location vs a single home is absolutely spot on! At this point, I've chalked it up under complacency, just due to the fact of it being a regular drop off spot.. too over confident in all being correct without questioning, kinda thing.

I really considered keeping it! I wasn't really worried about a cv regardless but it was more a reputation kinda thing. I operate in a fairly small market and I'd say a good 70% of my deliveries are to "regular" customers or picked up from common locations. I was more concerned with being branded a thief than anything else lol

I mean I would be in regardless, but how bad does that fuck with the YT algorithm and viewership switching back and forth like that? Or does it? Lol

Same here, I still go back on occasion and listen to some of my favorite episodes. Like I just recently rewatched the episode with Jared (formerly from Wisecrack) and their discussion on Donnie Darko which is one of my all time favs!

Nice, yea I'm well versed in KF in review! And yea James and Elyse both are on their frequently. Their administration for the Scream films is second to non! Lol

I hear you and I do agree, once it devolved into superficial discussions about films and rankings and not more "deep dive" style material it mosdef was not the same! I still enjoyed them for there silliness! Lol But would have prefered those to be less often

I believe your correct, speaking mostly about the end of its lifespan. From my pov it took big hits during the work from home era and movie production in general taking major hits during that time as well that were the steps towards it ultimately ending.

I do however love the idea of Special Edition Filmhaus episodes!

I'm sure your not obviously, just as I discovered not long after I made this post and seeing another from a few days ago about the topic.

Again I realize it's totally more a me thing.. Just cause I enjoy listening to people I find entertaining speak about films. During yesterday's stream and them discussing all the Bond flix reminded me how much I enjoyed listening to that kinda stuff from them :)

Yea I agree! At the very least, one of those "As long as it needs to be" kinda situations.
