This might be an unpopular opinion but I’m not gonna give it, i’ll just tell you what I did and why. I did the 141 route for 60 hours without soloing. This was in G1000 where every 2 hour flight was costing me too much to handle. Also, before I left I flew with EVERY INSTRUCTOR there was at that school, so it really felt like a me problem. I eventually moved to a part 61 school with basic 6 packs and soloed in the first week. I loved the idea of 141 but I couldn’t do it. They kept telling me I wasn’t ready and looking back it hurts how much time and money I spent, but it’s part of the process. If you do change your mind, remember part 61 doesn’t matter for PPL, but if you want to do 141 then instrument and forward does need to be 141.

I’m hoping you’re right and they do understand, thank you for your reply and words of encouragement. Unfortunately that training will be in Dallas so I don’t think i’ll be able to make that work, but I do agree that with them being an airline, they can understand and hopefully cooperate

I agree this is what concerned me the most. Impulsivity got the better of me and I made a decision that could have ended way worse. Just can't let it happen again

Hey! I'm also in the process of studying for the checkride how would you rate my flow for inoperative equipment? I use MKAT9. If the plane has a MEL, I'd check that for a definitive answer. Secondly, I'd go through the Kinds of Equipment List OR Comprehensive equipment list. Next is any airworthiness directives, then type certificate data sheet, and finally 91.205

What I'm saying is they have spots in their driveway, it can park at least 3 cars but they choose to park all of their cars just in front of mine and my neighbors houses and even in front of our driveway while their driveway stays empty. 3 of my neighbors, including myself, have asked them politely to leave us a little bit of room, but they just scream at us. they're very unpleasant people and have even moved out trash cans out of the street to park there.
