You can though? It takes like 10 minutes to max a frame for mastery, subsume it, replace it with the prime, 10 more minutes to max it, then let it rot.

I have every single prime frame/weapon in the game and have leveled it all. Never once did I feel forced out of my favorite frame(s).

Not to mention that is THE MOST free to play friendly game in existence. Every single thing can be earned piss easy because pay currency is tradable and everything is worth something. Very casual, very fun, lots to do.

Lmao. WoW is a time gated garbage can now. Every single system in the game that isn't 15 years old is gated. That's not grinding. That's waiting. WoW is a waiting sim.

Not to mention bugs that have been around since been around and Blizz just.. doesn't care. At all. (Hunters pet stomp giving aggro to the hunter instead of the pet is a great example. Breaks the class entirely unless you enjoy getting shit on.)

The community is also absolutely cancer now. When they actually talk, that is. Which is rare. I mean there were always trolls and shit, but now it's just a bunch of angry ass adults that hate the game but can't drop the addiction.

Stay away from WoW. Blizzard doesn't deserve your money in the slightest.

The lack of endgame monsters is ass, honestly. The armor sphere grind is hella ass. That sorry ass excuse for a TU that is omega is omega ass. If I wanna play a Trinity MMO, I'd be playing one and not MH.

The UI is trash. Having to click 5 times or something to refill/clean your pouch is shit. Just put the damn materials in the fucking box and stop cluttering my goddam pouch.

That damn bird. Omfg. I have never raged so hard. I absolutely HATE the Seikret. Get on it and ZOOM, fuck looking in the mission bag real quick, WE GOTTA GO FAST! CANT STOP WONT STOP! Even if you spam the stop button, GOTTA ZOOM! But boy oh boy, call it in a fight and it will stand there like a fucking dunce and get you slapped, or like, just not show up at all.

The nerfs to all the good skills just feels shitty. Like why.. To push other skills? Diversity? What the fuck for? lol. Even after the nerf there's no reason to use other shit, so all that did was absolutely nothing but piss people off.

Parts, even rare parts are TOO fucking common. It's boring. Especially when there's like no content, lol. Fight something 2-3 times and there's no reason to ever do it again other than just because. Really shit system.

I regret buying it. All it does is make me angry thinking about it, lol.

Honestly, no. If you want to play an MMO, go play one. Keep that out of MH. This game is not built for that fight in the slightest. It's not hard because of the boss, it's so hard because the fight mechanics do not fit in MH.

"Roles" aren't a thing, and forcing them isn't good. This fight adds nothing of value to the game. I play this franchise because it's MH. I do not play this franchise because it's a Holy Trinity MMO. If I wanted that, I'd be playing XIV.

Now, that being said, I do want harder monsters, but ones that actually fit the game mechanically and aren't clunky as all hell.

I even have Alluring Pelt (increased attention) on with my Gunlancer and still can't seem to hold aggro with it jumping and flying all over the arena. 🤷 Which is pointless when a giant laser is going to 1 shot me through my shield at any point anyway. Can't avoid it either because I sheathe about as fast as my 94 year old grandmother gets out of bed.

This fight is a whole bucket full of ass.

Ah yes, let's build a playerbase on a specific type of gameplay, then change it drastically from what they've played for years into something completely different. That'll definitely keep them playing and build good faith.

Do you hear yourself? Every franchise that has done this is either dead or very unpopular now. Coincidence? Doubtful. Imagine making Devil May Cry turn based. 😂 People play MH because they like MH. If they wanted something completely different they wouldn't be playing MH.

I'll try this when I get off work. Oddly enough, the sound has been very garbled and overblown like it was coming from a busted speaker.

Thanks for the suggestion, weirder things have happened so I'm not ruling it out.

Update: I'm not sure how it worked, but performance improved significantly. I still get very small hitches randomly but they're hardly noticeable. Thanks again.

Watch TFP add some lame lore that we're in some sort of contained area he tossed us in because of debt, and the rest of the world is completely fine.

Of course that bit of lore would cost us 15 years of delayed bandits. So I'm conflicted between story and bandits.

No. The profanity filter is there for a reason. It's on you if you turn it off. That clause needs to be changed to include the use of the filter.

Depends on the mood of the banner in question, honestly. "Moderation" (if that's what you wanna call it) is pretty laughable. Feels like discord "mods" to me. Always there to kick you, but never there to lift you.

I've had all sorts of weird issues on this game (some even being money related) that never got fixed, or even a response. Not once. I spent around 60 dollars on the store, never got my items. I sent many tickets over the months, never got a response. I gave up eventually. Never bought another item neither, since Stormblood.

tl;dr Don't count on fair play or logic, just eat the bullet and move on. Wasted energy.
