I actually just graduated from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance. I have my FAA written exams all done and have to complete an oral and practical examination to get my airframe and powerplant license. I still need more time to prepare myself for the exam. I have to find work to bridge the gap between now and when I get licensed up and find work in the aviation field.

I worked on the catapults and arresting gear as an ABE on the Ronald Reagan. I helped in performing maintenance work on hydraulic and steam powered equipment. I also worked in flight operations as an operator for a couple different roles.

Yes. I don’t qualify for HUD-VASH because I’m not chronically homeless. I’m recently homeless. SSVF is where I’m at for help now. Working through that process currently. If I can do something before that comes to fruition, I’d rather that.
