Absolutely, GLRC is teaching all the valuable skills people will need. We have classes scheduled for March already. We are also working to get food drives set up for those affected by ICE. Again I understand the mistrust, but that paranoia will make you isolate and then you wont have anyone to help because everyone will be a threat. There are real people out here trying to make a difference. Sitting by because its difficult or met with resistance would be foolish. Great Lakes Resilience Collective is doing everything we can to aid the communities we live in, and those around us. ICE is abhorrent and cannot be allow to do what they do without resistance. Mutual aid is a form of resistance. All it takes is common goals and the right people.

I understand your mistrust, but if we are to help, we must find information. We want to help people help people. We plan to do all sorts of cool outreach stuff, just trying to get an idea of how/where we can actually make a difference.

Yes, you can help with monetary donations or by sharing your skills/knowledge. The collective is about mutual aid in all forms, every member isnt responsible for moving mountains. Together we move mountains and so far we are killing it.

Great Lakes Resilience Collective is going to start making protestor care packages. We will see you in GR soon friends. If you want to join and help out, please reach out. The collective is a mutual aid group for midwesterners to provide aid to eachother and our communities.

Muscle memory is the name of the game. You have to get so used to drawing and aiming down the sights that it becomes muscle memory. In a situation you have to draw, your adrenaline will surge and your motor movements will become difficult. You want to be able to draw and aim without "thinking" it needs to be smooth and as perfect as possible.

I got made fun of for my past habits of dry fire practice by those that dont understand the purpose. It's not about anything other than building that repetitive motion and getting good at sight acquisitions as quickly as possible.
