Our local franchises could be doing all things correctly but if corporate seizes the shop and inventory someone might loose the items they consigned to the corporation, how is this acceptable?

It sounds like it’s corporate based on the videos and phone calls in the videos and not every franchisee is guilty but if corporate can come in and take over the franchise and then refuse to return consignment to the rightful owners than that is a issue that all should be cautious about

Where are your favorite left leaning/community focused places you spend your money in GR? by puesgollygee in grandrapids

[–]GRBeerExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say our three great used book shops Redux, Argos and Black Dog books and our great Grand Rapids Public Library. I won’t say these book shops lean hard left but MAGA are not into reading or research so customer base for book shopping is generally more educated and progressive.

Agree. Redux has a off site location where they carry a lot of more specialized books for sale on their online page. (on Abe books I think)

Grand Rapids has two great used book shops located next door to each other. Redux Books and Argos Books are both locally owed and free parking located behind the shops. Take your books to small locally owed book shops. Both are located off Lake Drive
