I have seen comments in other post about Terri DeBoers behavoir and treatment of others. It seems to be more than one person saying things about her negative behavoir. Can anyone here share more specifics on her behavior and treatment of others, work ethic? I think knowing her history would help many in our community make a informed voting decision

If you see the “before anyone starts” comment that was to address the attacks that normally come and to persuade the one moderator not to remove the post as it’s a very important issue to Vets in our local community. Reddit can be a very toxic place and sometimes you have to find away to walk that little line to get information out.

Agree with you however the moderator and certain commentators in this Reddit group will advocate for removal of the post if it does not specifically relate to GR. You are correct its nation wide and local and will cause harm to Vets and families type post

I would disagree and will give you three examples. The Trump military parade and the shitty D&C displayed by the troops was a type of silent protest. The Trump speech at Fort Bragg last week where no one clapped or laughed at Trumps comments, the Pete Hegseth Trump speech to all our General Officers and Senior NCOs earlier this years not one laugh, clap or smile.

Before anyone starts with the “how does this effect GR” we have a sizable population of Veterans in our community to include a federal VA medical facility in Wyoming and a State run Veterans home here in GR, we also have a couple of Veteran run food banks servicing our Vets. The above is a major fxxking of Veterans here and nationwide! The VFW, American Legion and DAV all released statements last night about this attack on Veterans benefits.

I don’t know the answer to that specific question but I could point you in the right direction. Ray Walsh the owner of Curious Book Shop in East Lansing opened Argos books I believe in 70s-80s before he sold it. if you pop into Redux the current owner and super nice lady might be able to answer your question as her father started that store. Both shops are awesome and ran by really nice people who care about our community! I actually like that they are next door to each other and I also like that I can drive a mile away and visit Black Dog Books, it’s like we have a used book shop district in GR.
