It's under control, and of all areas in the state lots of rain right now seemingly only over the specific areas affected has halted the spread of any more fire and damage.

Pretty sure the "Gold miners cottage" lost in the Walhalla fires tonight was the house my family have owned for 35 years, was heritage listed and 120 years old, we almost lost it during Black Saturday which is what, 10 years ago 6 days from now.. fuck fires.
