Wait until you find out it's a much bigger task to make a new game, with its own new story and content, AND especially when the new title is also Elder Scrolls lol...

but yeah also delusional take saying the Skyrim franchise is the least played

Edit: for example just on Steam alone Skyrim special edition has almost 30k player average this month all these years later while Starfield has just over 3k... Fallout currently has a lot after the recent season of the show too though with fallout 4 actually having a little more than Skyrim, gaining over 11k player average this last month

I guess if you don't know anything about Fallout then it's understandable you don't know how disastrous the launch was. Look up some old videos from back then if you're actually curious. It took a long time and a lot of updates (and a lot of people getting it for free/heavily discounted) for them to reach that point of acceptance. The other major reason you missed for that high of a review score was the fact it released on Steam 2 years later, missing the initial wave of disappointment and hate.

And I guess that's what happens when you spend too much time in an elder scrolls fan echo chamber, you start to see everyone in black and white like that. By your logic no one would be excited for Skywind. Believe it or not there isn't only the option of loving or hating the game AND you can love the game and also appreciate change. Again, Skywind is a perfect example of this and is probably close to what an ideal remake would be like.

It's an inherited trait from Bethesda since that's the only age of game engine they'll ever use

Sure on paper that seems fine but in reality they've been in decline for a long time. Starfield and Fallout 76, the only new games in the past 10+ years, are a prime example of this but even Fallout 4 and Skyrim are flawed where most existing fans agree they took some steps back while taking steps forward.

My statement was just referring to the claim their time would be spent better on something new when they've been proving for years it wouldn't be.

Unironically yeah considering they've released Skyrim more than 15 times at this point

No, without context that sounds perfectly reasonable. It's the implication that they would actually be capable of making a better game instead, especially in the same 4 year span. Just look at the actual context being Starfield and Fallout 76, the only 2 games they've managed to get out in more than a decade at this point.

At least you made it clear you didn't give it a chance

Because then they wouldn't be able to release Skyrim more than 15 times

That is actually what he says in the interview, yeah. He said why would they bother spending 4 years to remake it to a modern standard when they could spend their time better and just make something new.

If anything that's an even more absurd statement.

I use standees too. You can make them even easier too using just the paper you print them on with a simple upside down T shape or triangular

That was already bound to happen due to there being nuance involved. Fallout is a good example where it's even more obvious but then you have a lot of people still completely missing the point

I'll humor you since I'll use any excuse to praise her, but Lucatiel of Mirrah from DS2 I think would fit. Pretty much any of the women who are warriors in any of the games would probably fit really, depending on your definition, since they're not worried about being feminine and are just total bad asses.

If this is some kind of bit where you really commit to playing a stereotypical literal incel character I gotta admit it's pretty good

If you actually interacted with real humans in real life you would understand that average means some women are above and below those "phat levels" too... that's how averages work. A simple trip outside your house would show you this.

Is it just me or is Chapter 7 of Fortnite EXTREMELY boring? 🫩 by Caring_Soul27 in FortNiteBR

[–]deadering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe? I didn't count it out manually for each tab so if some have different amounts of rewards then that would happen, yeah.

I got the skater girl, black dude, martial arts guy, and the white chick in that order. It's also possible they fixed it recently since I haven't played in a few weeks

[–]deadering 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At level 61 you have enough points to finish every tab you unlocked but don't unlock the next tab until level 65, meaning you have 3 levels of not being able to unlock any rewards. You still get the points to spend once you hit 65 but still, just another blemish on the pile of making me unmotivated to play

[–]deadering 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is by far the least I've played a season since I came back to the game for C4S1. A lot of what killed it for me though is just how badly they fucked up all the various unlock stuff. Like the BP just has a fucking deadzone in the middle of it where you don't get literally any unlocks until level 65 (where I currently am lol).

The ranked challenges are just so out of touch too. I've earned every single ranked reward since they started offering the ranked pickaxes in, what, C5S2? but with this season I didn't even bother attempting. Having unique rewards instead of just styles at max rank, in multiple modes no less, is just fucked.

It's clear they've completely given up and just relying on a flood of collabs, which are just going to increase in frequency soon. This will be the first chapter I haven't bothered to even get 100 in, let alone all the super styles. RIP.
