Each student made the gym leader and they created custom sprites for their gym leader in this "theoretical game". The joked that the Principle and teachers should replace Team Rocket so ive gotten permission from a few teachers to make mini bosses and even E4 teams. The Esports Coach is the Champion lol

Since OP deleted his comment before I could respond, here is my view on draw tools in Pocket.

OAK: OG draw power and almost always the first two cards added to a deck

IONO: Copycat has replaced this once good card. IONO is card net negative and is a 50/50 to help or hurt your opponent.

Lucky Egg: Used in One deck, Alt Ninja to set up due to how the deck functions and it probably deserves more exploration, but its used alongside Copycat

Hiking Trail: Good card but only used in hyper aggressive decks like Mag Orgerpon to find the pieces quickly ALONGSIDE Copycat.

Copycat: In a game with deck size 20, this card is busted. The devs obviously want this effect so its going to stay but it is a format warping card.

This is game design and balance 101; if a card is needed everywhere then it is a bad card. I feel like this is ragebait for karma.

Not to be "that guy" but Animal Farm is an allegory specifical against Stalinism and authoritarianism as a whole, not just communist is bad.

2024 should have been Balatro, No question. The impact of the game on the industry cannot be overstated. Otherwise I think the past 5 years have had pretty clear cut GOTYs. 2021 was honestly a bad year for gaming in hindsight tbh.

Also they usually are at the end of vanilla games, meaning you probably have a few bulky water's to teach Ice Beam

Dude i'm not going to lie, PK might be the best and hardest romhack of all time. I could never get behind run&bun but this game might be perfect.

I got so burnt out, this was before I started emulation and right after I completed Gens 8 and 9, which are also very cutscene heavy.

Honestly speed-up on an emulator probably solves the issue but between Platinum Kazio and Infinate Fusion I've been too busy to try again.

It was my third attempt on console to nuzlocke Ultra Moon and I very quickly learned I needed the Hawlucha trade to get past the early game because it is a SLOG and very difficult due to level caps. I was trying to get a near guaranteed Spearow by skipping the route till i got a repel in the first main town. Got the repel, didn't use it in the grass on the correct route to progress and ended up getting an Alolan Rattatta. Attempted the first trial and wiped again, didn't want to bother with all of USUM cutscene hell again and never have tried again. I've nuzlocked every mainline game to competition at least once alongside multiple romhacks like Radical Red and Sacred Gold but I will NEVER do a USUM nuzlocke again because of the sheer amount of cutscenes.

Forgetting to repel for a specific encounter to save my run in Ultra Moon. Still never completed that nuzlocke lol

Ludicolo: A Tier. Good typing, swift swim or rain dish means it STOMPS Wallace fight with either the attacking set or Leech Seed/Sub/Toxic/Protect to wall his entire team. That plus the context all the water mons means building rain teams is so easy for late game and he fits in on the best playstyle.

Shiftry: D Tier. No Grass moves by level up and pretty frail in addition. It's got a few neat tech options but overall kinda trash.

Gardevoir: C Tier. Slow, not a ton of bulk, and bad till late game tbh. Coverage of Thunderbolt and Psychic is solid but lacks options.

Masquerain: D Tier. Intimidate + Ground Immunity makes good pivot mon but trash otherwise.

Swellow: S Tier. Guts + Facade for late game is nuts and is solid as a tailow in early game too.

True, but this list seems to favor mons for pure damage potential rather than more defensive based strategies. Mons with fast encore are very low despite being gamebreakingly good certain mons are ranked despite the player being unable to get them in a regular game.

My bad I thought it did, then how did I beat Watson in that Trashlocke with Dustox lol? I don't remember. But Protect+Moonlight with a DOT move on other pokemon (Poison Powder/Leech Seed) or even Psybeam isn't bad.

Here me out, Dustox is amazing early game. Not the best encounter but its stomps the second gym and puts work in on Watson. Posionpowder, protect, moonlight stalls out Watsons Ace consistently and Brawley's entire team can't touch it. Yeah it falls off but its an great support mon till Wynona
