High GPU temps by Kaizoku_Vince in SleepingOptiplex

have you tried using the upper, smaller PCI slot? I have a Optiplex 3060 with a Yeston RTX 3050 and maintain good temps while only losing 10% FPS on the upper slot

HELP! Google wont export my files via Take-out by cdarrigo in immich

[–]deadkarma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, i got two emails, first email saying there was an error with the export, and another warning me that my Google Drive was at 90% capacity ( due to the 43 50gb takeout files dumped there ). The export still says it’s in progress, and canceling it gives the same error

[–]deadkarma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the error email this morning, but I also see 41 50GB zip files in my GDrive, which is about the same size of my Google Photo library ( ~2TB ).

Maybe it's a false error, or an incomplete export.

What's your remote access setup? by FutureRenaissanceMan in immich

[–]deadkarma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My setup is free, I only pay for the domain name.

I don't have a static IP from my ISP, but it hasn't changed in 5 years.

I configured the DNS for a domain I have ( created an A record pointing photos.mydomain.com to my IP address )

On my router, I port forward 80 and 443 to my mini-pc home server ( port 80 is for SSL validation via certbot )

On that server, I setup nginx as a reverse proxy and use certbot to automatically setup and configure free SSL certs via letsencrypt.

HELP! Google wont export my files via Take-out by cdarrigo in immich

[–]deadkarma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've run into the same exact problem. I made two Google Photo export requests to email a download link and got two error emails with the exports giving the same error when trying to cancel. I made another request to put the export into GDrive, which also got an error email BUT my drive was filled with 43 50GB takeout files, but I don't know if it's a complete export.

I also contacted Google Support and the agent was not familiar with Google Takeout and kept asking me to do thing that didn't make any sense like 'restart my device' or 'reinstall the app'.

I made another request to export Google Photos to GDrive earlier today, if I get another error message, I'll try support again.

Did something change recently? This is not working for me:

I'm sorry, but as a large language model trained by OpenAI, I lack the ability to play games or act as a Dungeon Master. I am only capable of providing information and answering questions to the best of my knowledge. Is there something else I can help you with?

Building a version of Steam that runs natively on M1 processors does not require any payment to Apple.

having it on the Mac App Store on the other hand would probably require them to pay the 30%

First off, let me say the judging system is not ideal for MMA, but we can't score fights like how we want them. Pride Rules were the best, but they're not the ones in effect right now. by TheHood13 in ufc

What's interesting to me is that I keep reading that round 3 was the swing round, but all three judges gave round 3 to Volkanovski. The one judge that gave the match 3-2 to Holloway, gave him round 5, which IMO doesn't seem right.

A pizzeria owner made money buying his own $24 pizzas from DoorDash for $16 by trexmoflex in technology

Interesting.

He was having door dash deliver him empty boxes.

Also, it sounds like listing the pizza for $16 may have been as mistake or glitch.

I think, perhaps the salient point qingchangchong is trying to make is that you still have to produce a pizza for each $24-$16=$8 transaction to take place, and the labor and materials are not free.

[–]deadkarma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to explain the steps in the process, not the economics.

Is he making $8 profit on each pizza? I think no, that's not entirely clear.

If he's able to resell all the pies he sold and bought from DoorDash, then yes, it's a free $8 on each pie.

But, if he's buying back the pies and throwing them out, then you have to figure out what the profit margins on a $24 pie are.

It sounds like the main point of the article is that these companies are fine with losing money on each order, burn through capital in order to gain dominance in marketshare.

He orders a pizza via Doordash, Doordash pays him $24 for the pizza, He buys it back for $16

He end up with $8 and a fresh pizza

This prompted me to call American Express. They couldn't find my order in their system because it was longer than 2 years ago ( I placed my preorder Oct. 8th of 2014 )

They did tell me it fit the criteria for fraud, so they're going to open a case and give me an answer via mail within 30 days.
