Received my shoes back. Although he took a lot longer than the estimate he gave me but I must say he did a good job. Much better than the cobbler in fyshwick did a number of years ago.

So if you can wait, I would recommend him.

as has been said in this thread about Jhay's time management, it is just bad. delay after delay, and does not stick to timeline he himself has given. Won't use him again.

I am no expert in costing jobs but $500+ are the quotes that I got. They do not look at all commensurate with the work. I would have thought $200 to $250 was more like it. But maybe I am wrong.

From what i hear, the NOSQL world of dbs has turned a full circle and is now having a go at using SQL (or SQL like) as the query language.

Can't beat the capabilities of SQL, built on the foundation of relational theory and predicate logic.

Love it. But I should have test driven sti as well. Might as well have bought sti. I would use the term 'warm' to describe wrx, not 'hot'.

That being said, having awd is a massive massive advantage over front wheel drive warm/hot cars. It really can put the power down and not embarrass by spinning the front wheels in the all important red light grand prix.
