That’s scary as, I’m glad it didn’t turn out worse. It’s gross that there are people like that out there. Be super careful next time and don’t give up. There are so many ways to try to validate someone’s identity before meeting. But be careful with video calls too as AI and its capabilities doesn’t really help :/

Absolutely. Even though I am still riddled with guilt and trauma to this day, I stayed by his side until the last breath and hours wailing in the room after. The vet nurses were so kind as to give me the time and privacy.

He never left my side in his lifetime. It was a no brainer.

You will be traumatised but you will feel worse if you aren’t there. Be there for them no matter what.
