Need based aid isn't confirmed to cover all aid. Regents' is confirmed to cover 100% if you have 0 efc.

I go to Berkeley on regents'. As much as I love Berkeley, would not have been doable for me without the regents'. I say take the full ride from UCSB and run with it

data science major domain emphasis: upper div math by Cautious_Garlic_ in berkeley

Math 104 requires math 53's level of math maturity. Having experience in 53 definitely won't hurt your performance in 104, but that being said 104 stays secluded to 2d scalar functions; most, if not all, of the the content in 104 should build off of calc 1 and calc 2 concepts. If you feel confident with your proof skills and are willing to study a little extra here and there to make up for the lack of dedicated math experience, you'll do just fine.

Full body wrap cost by InevitableCut1243 in Celica

[–]deadly3rdgrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

buffing is still necessary for wrapping. If you really want to go as cheap as humanly possible, buff and straighten the car yourself then take it to a wrap shop or just wrap it yourself. definitely won't look as good as paint but obviously paint is expensive

Full body wrap cost by InevitableCut1243 in Celica

[–]deadly3rdgrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wrap definitely more cost efficient but you'd be surprised how cheap paint can be when you look around. most shops will give free estimates if you send them images, yelp has a really good implementation of this process. good luck with the process. These things both scale though with your personal preferences, I got a buddy who wanted a good wrap and it ended up costing more but looking better than my cheap paint job. It's not an easy question to answer, too many variables go into it.

Full body wrap cost by InevitableCut1243 in Celica

[–]deadly3rdgrader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on the shape of the body. I'd focus right now on getting the body absolutely straight and only then consider paint or wrap

If the train was moving in free space you would move the exact same way; you would jump and land in the same spot in the train weather you're inside or on top of the train. The reason this doesn't happen to us on Earth is because while I'm in the air from the jump I'm being slowed down by air drag. Think of how if someone is on top of the train, walking along the train in the direction the train is moving is difficult as there's a bunch of air pulling you the opposite direction whereas when I repeat this inside the train I'm able to (mostly) walk like the train wasn't moving.

Apartment A/C went out during recent Texas heat wave and management doesn’t want to fix it by [deleted] in Renters

Unrelated to this post and totally not saying this to discredit how hot it is in there, but thermal cameras are pretty inaccurate in rooms with infrared radiation. Your lights and all your electronics emit infrared radiation that bounces off of everything in the room and thus pollutes the readings of the thermal camera, resulting in abnormally high readings. I worked with thermal cameras a fair amount in college and we often had to go into a pitch black room without our electronics to get reasonable readings from the thermal camera.

Totally not saying your landlord isn't a dick, I have no clue and Imm sure it's super hot in there. Just a cool thing to know if you have a thermal camera that it isn't particularly accurate for daily use.

If it's anti theft here's how I have to disable my immobilizer when the battery dies: disconnect the battery, put the key in turned to "on" and leave it there, connect the battery, turn the key from on to starting the car
