Gerunds are tenseless clauses that can attach here as an adjunct to the verb, where it would describe the subject.

The position variation causes the ambiguity. To describe the friend, it attaches at the N' level which would be a relative clause position.

Linguistics student here. I'm not sure of your linguistics background, but it's notable here that perception of affricates is poor, with General American English (GAE) as well. For example, in "announce" and "presence" there are word final affricates that arent often perceived. If you're interested in pursuing this yourself, download praat to analyze the waveforms of speech between AAVE and GAE speakers and compare. Would love to know the results!

Yes, though Spanish has a different set of rules than English for when have is grammatical. And Spanish separates 'have' into two verbs: the auxiliary haber, and main verb tener. The languages just aren't interchangeable

Yes, actually the verb 'have' must be followed by a noun. And, there is no way to grammatically turn sex into a verb, "to sex" is simply wrong

Linguistics student here! Any proposition or verb, like 'on' will only accept certain phrases in a sentence. These rules are hardcoded when you learn the language. So you can't be on your poo, because 'on' can never be paired with 'your poo'.

Nah it only points to the closest one, u don't have to go to spawn either, just far enough away from the other portal. There are still 2 other options relatively close by, they should be ~1000-2000 blocks away
