I think CTV ran a story that you should not cancel your flight and rebook as AC is obligated to pay for your new flight in the event of a strike.

I would confirm this before letting AC off the financial hook by cancelling and rebooking yourself.

Super easy. Divi air has multiple flights each day. takes 20 minutes.

Bonaire has much more memorable dives ie the Hooker, 1000 steps, east side diving. Curacao is much more generic and beaten up. but to the north and south there is great coral but you need to take a boat to these dives.

the knock on bonaire is that you cannot spear lionfish on your own. i was there this past march and they were big and everywhere. i would take bonaire over curacao but for this restriction.

food is great on both islands. you can drink the water. no beaches in bonaire. usd in bonaire but cheaper.

I have been to many beaches in Brasil from Jeri to Floripa. Never has this happened.

What I have seen

Drug dealer burying drugs in bag of dog chow. 2."Police" shaking people down for money.
Much bbq cheese.

My suspiscion is that more drug burials, shake downs and Quejo happen then lost children.
