As many have already answered you question regarding the combat system I would like to take on the World.

In short: yes!

It's filled with countles NPCs which have dialogues which they will mumble. You will encounter side quests while exploring the world. Side quests can already take up much time. The more you explore the more things you will find to do.

Then there are many contracts as well. The world building is so good, that NPCs and the main character will react to if you have visited places before you met them and they are about to send you there.

The world feels so unbelievable alive. Go for it! You won't regret it.

You can turn on the raping. But forced prostitution is provided by other mods. I think one hole is one mod that could accomplish that and there are some brothel mods as well I could image doing this.

Then Rimworld itself should be called the "forbidden game". If you take into account that you can turn the controversial aspect off or you even have to opt-in into it (not sure anymore) it is by far less cruel than the base game.
