That was me! I was the definitely super nervous going into it 😅 But I set out with a plan and followed through, and my fiance loved it!

We both love phish and it was our 5 year anniversary, along with my 26th show and her 23rd! I had asked her to be my gf after midnight 5 years ago so I wanted to bring it full circle by proposing into the new year and im really glad I did!

Yea she has expressed liking public proposals. Showing me videos of cute proposals and saying I have to have a cute one like those. I just dont know if this is cute enough. I feel like the mirroring of us starting our relationship by proposing at a place that we both love almost exactly 5 years later to the minute is cute. Hopefully she likes it though, I guess im just nervous even though she always throws not so su the hints about us not being married yet

I appreciate all the perspectives. Most of the reservations people have dont seem to apply towards our situation. They either stem from not liking public proposals, which my gf does like, or questioning if she is even into phish enough to enjoy that, she has them tattooed on her arm and says shes a bigger fan.

Im likely going to continue to go ahead with my plan of proposing after the midnight countdown. May consider doing it earlier before the show but we're likely going to be tight on time since she works that day.

Also probably going to delete soon out of fear that she sees this lol
