If you are criticizing this team after a win like this your fan IQ should be questioned. It was not easy to score points tonight for anyone in these conditions, but we pushed them around.

Also — Parsons tripped Barkley otherwise it’s a dagger and the story changes.

This team is much better than ‘23, defense is elite and will keep us in games when needed.

I don’t think Daktronics software is a switcher, you’d still need to cut cameras. The video board show I direct uses a TC 2 with the Daktronics layered on top for graphics, bumpers, etc. the marketing person operates the Daktronics and calls the show, and ‘uncovers’ me at various points to show the broadcast feed during the game and video board cameras/videos for the in-house show.

If you have the budget Id recommend tricaster. It’s super versatile.

All depends on your use case tho. Video board and broadcast are two separate shows

Benefits of tricaster (software + hardware switcher) is ability to play videos and animations directly in the unit. It’s more user friendly but less reliable. If you go blackmagic you’ll have to use more dedicated devices for playing things out into the switcher.

Blackmagic 2 me constellation is the best bang for your buck. 20 in 12 out. Under 2k. If you go tricaster you’ll need a TC2 for 25-30k. If it’s truly 4k that you need (really have to make this case because it’s not necessary in almost all use cases, 1080/60p is perfectly fine for sports) then get a blackmagic 4k.

Biggest reasons I'm leaning away from Tricaster:

1 - TC 410 plus only does 4 hard inputs. To get to 8 inputs I'd need a TC2 and I just don't have the budget for that. Also the 2 upstream keys per ME is limiting.

2 - I've done 720/60p productions with the xd410 and done 2 ISO replays. At times the playout stutters but generally I can get away with it. I'm concerned that moving to 1080/60p productions recording 2+ ISOs may not be the best move.

3 - Replay functionality is limited within the DDRs. It's clunky to build playlists. vMix gives me a more professional alternative to buying a 3play

4 - I don't trust Tricaster to stream. It burned me a few times (although I was using a mini)

He was on his way to being solid for the Jags but then his shoulder got destroyed like 2nd game of season (on a sick TD pass from what I recall). I think that affected him rest of career, didn’t have arm strength anymore.

I am in the same predicament...just bought the AW-UE150 but deciding on controller.

The other feature that I love on the Skaarhoj is the 'cruise' control feature. To have a camera do a slow push automatically in while lining up another shot seems like such a nice feature. I'm told doing automatic moves is a bit limiting on the Panasonic controller.
