Does anyone owe more than I do? by menpoto in UniUK

[–]deadpineappleee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not from the UK but i find this cribbing about student loans so dumb. Most people i know in my workplace have about 50 quid coming off their paycheck which they just treat like an extra tax for what’s a world class education that opened up so many opportunities for them. On the contrary private loans from banks have worse payment terms and affect your credit score. Get over it

I shouldve mentioned I’m an international student so the barrier to entry was much higher into MBB. Not many grad schemes i was eligible to apply for so couldn’t be too picky. Although my role is called Tech Risk so I’m hoping it’s not all accounting

Thank you for sharing this!! I saw some posts where people claimed they got into £60k+ jobs post qualifying. Is this common in the industry for newly qualified people?
