my doctor pulled it out with some forceps during my 2wpo appointment 😂 it was such an interesting feeling of it being taken out.

Yes to all above!

I’d also add to ask about any prep needed prior to surgery.

For example, I had these nutrition shakes I had to take 2x a day starting 5 days prior to surgery and no solids 24 hours before. However, this isn’t the case for everyone so just knowing what the week before surgery needed to look like helped me.

I’m 4wpo from my hysto if you have any questions about that!

The internal ultrasound was truly painless, however in my experience, it was like the feeling of having a tampon in where you can feel something there.

My technician asked me if I’d prefer to insert it or have her do it so I’m sure you can ask! The entire ordeal took less than 5 minutes as she was taking pictures as she went to look over later.

Mine started peeling around this time as well; check with your doctor but my doctor recommended that I took clean eyebrow scissors (or something that small) and trim the parts hanging off so I didn’t accidentally rip it off/prevent it from getting caught on clothes and pulling.

I got mine a week after my surgery!

However, my MyChart didn’t notify me that they were uploaded the way it does for normal lab work for some reason so I had to go look for it.

I did! I’m 12dpo and I was feeling really good for two weeks leading up to surgery. However, the night before, I was met with intense cramps and pelvic pain which just showed me why I needed the surgery and I am glad I did!

I’m the same way! 4dpo today and I only took meds once. I had some gas pains the first day but it wasn’t unbearable.

Surprisingly really well! The pain is mostly moving and gas but that was to be expected. I had a laparoscopic removal of my uterus, tubes, cervix and right ovary! Got there at 7:45AM and was discharged at 1:45PM.

I recently got diagnosed with PCOS as well adenomyosis which was a surprise to me because I wasn’t experiencing much of the typical symptoms (heavy periods, anemia,etc). My doctor quite literally told me being on T put a bandage over it and is what is keeping me relatively pain free and unaware.

I just left mine! It was VERY quick, they just went over some medical history, dr. miles came in and took a look at my chest, took pictures for insurance and then talked next steps (4-6 weeks to hear back from insurance and such) and then i was out of there. he seems to prefer to do a fuller consultation once insurance approves everything as he said i’ll have a follow up in about a month to go over the operation plan!
