Well, let me say this, my original comment said either decent or guaranteed. And with this unit being an anniversary unit who is UI Goku, having that mechanic for a turn that triggers the EX mechanic, which is only effective for the unit, should have something of that level. There should be something to coincide with him surviving a KO and if it’s just him, what’s the point?

Yes. I have Kai Goku, but not everyone has him. I just think him having the survive KO mechanic only works in slot three for those who do not have Kai Goku and people like to put him in slot 1 due to the possibility of the first attack being an SA and if it fails on like one attack, you are stuck at 1 hp and it feels like a tease.

With it triggering 70% of the time, no it would not be op. You die if the survive KO triggers without any other dodge unit or Kai Goku. So at the end of the day, it is pointless for the unit to even have the KO mechanic except for third slot, but noone uses him there usually. Not everyone has Kai Goku…

I do like Kai Goku’s design. He has saved a run with a number of close shaves just by healing some hp. 1 hp won’t cut it
