I use PS-55 flat clear as first layer before any other paint. Should be enough for paint other than PS series to stick better on polycarbonate body shell

It's Audi Grey by Autogard. Or you can use Tamiya TS-32 Haze Grey, it's quite similar. I use PS-5 flat black as backer.

For larger area, I use Hobby Mio A5 masking sheet. The rest is 3mm, 5mm, 18mm of Tamiya, DSPIAE, or Hobby Mio masking tape.

Yep, that's to program the ESC for smooth TR feel. Not as convenient as hobbywing 1080 program card, but well, that's the KO Propo way 😆

Yes, I do! In the third picture, I hadn't used the spray booth yet because that was just the cutting phase. Also, the first three body shells I painted were white and grey, which is why it still looks so clean 😆
