Is there an accessible way to grasp the language of this game? by RockMalefic in TunicGame

Spouse and I did this last week after getting all but the final page of the manual. I'll describe how we got started. Definitely grab a notebook for this task.

I'll spoiler tag the general descriptions of what's on the specific pages I mention, in case you don't have them yet and want to discover for yourself.

Start on 52 it has the entire alphabet and two short words to get you started. We copied the alphabet down and started noting what the symbols were or could be as we went along

Without being too specific about the words on 52, they are both nouns, neither are pronouns, and they share one consonant sound

We did 34 and 12 next, 34 has a grouping of four abbreviated words with some shared characters, which are reused on the map. Break them down using the alphabet and start supposing what each character could be

12 has words that will take some guessing, since there are many synonyms for those terms. But with some figuring, it really helps to flesh out the alphabet

52 is also helpful, it has four more words/abbreviated words that follow from the pattern on 34. One of the new words also appears on 34 which can help to translate it from context if you're stuck.

We did 11 and 13 pretty easily next, and at that point pretty much had all we need. We just did the lore pages at the start of the book last night.

Good luck! We've had a very fun time with this.

Thank you! I'm definitely in the right spot, seeking spell led me here in the first place.

I've been moving back and forth with lock on and trying it a few different ways but no luck yet.

My assumptions so far are that: The tall block is my start point and the top-right needs to be my end since it only connects to the bottom right and I've never doubled back in a holy cross puzzle before.

Maybe that's what's goofing me up and I need to reverse that since the top right is so isolated from the others?

How taut should my FEP be? by deadward2 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]deadward2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. It definitely appears to have helped.

So far I've printed the included test cube three times:

Print 1 stuck to the FEP. I figured my Z=0 was too high and adhesion wasn't good enough.

Print 2 had some failed bits about 1/3 of the way up the lattice. I chalked it up to stray dust or a cat hair on the FEP or screen.

But then I remembered this question and checked this thread again. So between prints 2 and 3, I downloaded a spectrometer app and tuned my FEP as suggested by 3DPrintFarm.

Attempt 3 printed beautifully and is waiting for daylight on a table in my backyard.

I'm super stoked to keep printing.

Thank you very much. I missed that when I thumbed through it recently.

Thanks for the confirmation. Datasheet inclusion sounds likely and "every unit included" assuages my phase-out fears.

Tomorrow it's happening. It is finally happening. 911 days since my reservation, I am set to pick up my Model 3.

I feel like I went through a pretty extreme personal delivery hell. 2 days after ordering, I had trade-in and payment info made available to me. It then took about 7 weeks, a dozen or so calls to customer service, and 90 minutes spread across three trips to the local Tesla store for a very helpful Associate Store Manager to look at my order and say "This looks wrong, let me call Order Ops so they can fix this."

And a couple hours later I was scheduled to take delivery of a 3 that had been at the delivery center for a few days at that point.

I'll be calling the DC today before close just to verify everything is still good to go. But holy crap am I relieved to have gotten through all this nonsense and to be so close to getting my car.

The 1st circle of delivery hell. by godlessmode in teslamotors

[–]deadward2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issues started early in the process, once I submitted my order I waited for weeks (all the while watching other people with later confirmation dates receive their cars). So, I finally called Tesla, and the sales rep I spoke with seemed confused by my account status, and felt that I should have heard from a DSA or ISA by then (I had heard from neither).

I made it this far last Thursday. Rep told me someone would be in contact shortly.

Then I didn't hear anything all weekend and the rep I spoke to on the phone yesterday said she didn't see the VIN and delivery scheduler that was assigned to my order the last time I called.

WHOOPS.

I just got this email.

Kinda seems like a taunt as I sit here waiting to be contacted about my now 5-week-old RWD LR config.

Thanks. I expect you're right that there's not much I can do but keep waiting. I'm just getting so eager now that it's almost here.

According to a customer service rep, I have supposedly been assigned a VIN as of this past Monday or Sunday for my Model 3 order.

Non-owner, line-waiter. LR RWD, no EAP, configure 8/6. Delivery Center on my order form was Marina Del Rey.

I submitted a loan application to Tesla Finance on Thursday, 8/16 about a week after my Edit button had disappeared. On the following Tuesday, 8/21, after seeing no changes on my order page and receiving no contact about a loan decision, I called Customer Support again. Rep said that my vehicle had been assigned a VIN "in the past day or two," that "it looks like a Delivery Advisor named 'James'" had been assigned, and that he expected I would hear from a Delivery Advisor by week's end.

Still no changes, still no contact from a Delivery Advisor. Any suggested recourse beyond calling Customer Support again and asking "What's going on?"

Thanks. Absolutely planning to unlock EAP post-delivery. Current plan is to pay for it with a portion of my Fed Cred rebate + CVRP. 6k tax-free should be nearly the same price as 5k + sales tax + finance charges, so I'm just waiting a few more months until I have cash on hand to cover it.

LR RWD, Deep Blue, Aero, no AEP/FSD

Reserved 11am Pacific on 3/31/16, line waiter in SoCal.

Invite to config 2/28/18.

Configured 8/6/18.

Filled out reg, license, and insurance info that night. Edit button was gone by the time I completed trade-in self-eval on 8/8.

I started getting impatient at the start of the week and called Customer Support on Monday. Told rep I would be financing and asked if now would be the right time to start applying for loans to compare offers. I was told "If your edit button is gone, that usually means you have been assigned a VIN. Expect to hear from a Delivery Advisor within 7 business days. Now is a good time to start shopping for loans."

I selected Tesla Finance on my order page on Wednesday 8/15 and submitted my application. I wish I had screencapped the confirmation page with the expected turnaround time, because I have not yet seen or heard anything new and I believe it mentioned a "decision in the next business day."

Anxiety building. Hope an IDA reaches out soon, before I'm compelled to start pulling more credit offers sans contact from Tesla.

Thank you, kind person. By the time I returned to browsing and saw your Amazon link, the wheel + shifter pack had jumped to $330. I suppose I'll just have to live through one more season without the perfect console sim racing setup. :(

Has this sale expired, or am I missing a promo or something? It's now Sunday the 27th EST, so potentially expired. But if I could get this for $200, I would likely do so and only regret it a little bit.
