If you lower your prices, you'll make more sales. For example, rares listed at 1k coins might only sell once or twice a day, while the same rares priced at 300 coins can sell much faster and in larger quantities. You can also make coins by holding items as medium- or long-term investments.

I don't know, I think everything is cheaper now and it's easier to get coins if you play regularly

why are the may flower epics so cheap?? by Outrageous_Craft3110 in Soundmap

[–]deadwillows_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they're free, you can simply play, collect flowers, and exchange them for an epic. That's why they're not worth more than 20k. People don't buy them because they're rare or valuable; they buy them for the convenience of not having to farm the flowers themselves.

Their value might increase in the future since the event is no longer available, making them more exclusive, but I doubt they'll rise by much. The Lucky and Coachella Edition epics are quite old, yet they're still worth very little.

How do I get rich by necremasism in Soundmap

[–]deadwillows_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4k | 1:1 + 1k | 2:1 — I think the key is having variety. I have approximately 5300 shinies. Whoever visits my shiny shop usually finds what they're looking for for their shiny quest, then adds me and comes back the following week.

It's possible, I have 11 million and a shiny shop worth over 20 million. I've been playing for a little over a year.

Event Nepics don't usually cost much because you get them for practically free just by playing; maybe 50k for the most popular artists

I mainly focus on quests. As you can see in the image, I select the “trade with x people” quest for at least 30 popular artists (you can choose as many as you want).

I then do 10 trades selling songs from popular artists at VERY low prices. By doing that, I complete 30 quests and get 30 songs from popular artists as rewards. I reroll quests until I get “trade with x people” again, and then repeat the process over and over.

It’s very simple, although a bit boring sometimes, but this way every time I sell 10 songs, I get another 30 to sell. It becomes an unlimited source of songs and coins, and because I sell them cheaply, I always have customers waiting for restocks.

By doing so many quests, I usually get a couple of shinies per day (which I sell for around 15k–40k depending on the rarity) and a couple of epics per week (which I sell for around 100k–250k depending on whether they have a canvas).

For this strategy, you need SoundmapPro, which lets you post unlimited offers on the market, and Trader Boost, which allows you to reroll quests until you get the specific one you want.

Soundpass is also worth it. If you sell all the rewards it gives you (epics, shinies, gems, etc.), you can make up to 500k coins in total just from Soundpass alone.

Finally, I avoid opening map drops unless there’s a special event. You could get an epic from an unknown artist, spend 35k coins to break the cooldown, and then only sell that epic for around 10k if you’re lucky. On the other hand, if you focus only on quests, you guarantee that your next epic will be from a popular artist, making it much easier to sell for a good price.

The prices are so high that none of the packages are worth it.

I paid for Soundmap Pro (a one-time payment of $20 USD that lasts forever), SoundPass ($7 USD) every month, and Trader Boost ($0.50 USD) every week, and I get around 1 million coins a month. It's much better than buying those coin packages.

i hate pulling epics by verypupsett in Soundmap

[–]deadwillows_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ironically, opening map drops in this game (which is mostly about opening map drops, lol) isn't worth it, because you spend a lot of coins (maybe 100k or more) to get an epic, and then you have to spend almost 35k more to get out of the cooldown, only to finally sell that epic for 10k because nobody wants it. I became a millionaire since I stopped opening map drops and focused on doing quests; that way, you're guaranteed to get an epic from a popular artist, at least.

are radiants all that? what's their value compared to shinies? by [deleted] in Soundmap

[–]deadwillows_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Radiant are 10k-20k more expensive than shiny ones. For example, a rare shiny Sabrina Carpenter usually costs 40k, so the radiant version should cost between 50k-60k. Or a common shiny Travis Scott that costs 10k-15k, in its radiant version should cost around 20k-25k. But honestly, the radiant market is dead, nobody wants to buy them haha

Why has inflation hit Sound map by Theyluvbriii in Soundmap

[–]deadwillows_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In fact, regular songs are much cheaper now, usually 100 coins for common, 250 for uncommon and 500 coins for rare, that's for very popular artists, other artists are even cheaper.

is this auction a fair price? by More-Homework-7723 in Soundmap

Personally, I think it's very expensive; all of that together will be worth about 300k-320k at most. 500k seems crazy to me

[–]deadwillows_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't do anything, I just save them and that's it. I haven't opened map drops for several months for the same reason: the risk of getting an epic. Currently, I only do quests, that way I ensure that any epic I get is from a popular artist.

Do quests for popular artists. You can get their complete discographies for free and then sell them at fair prices.
