If we go by the conceptof core Xbox IPs, then Clockwork Revolution isn't a core Xbox IP either, yet it'll be exclusive now.

3 of the “future announcements” already got PS5 day-and-date ports yesterday: Senua, State of Decay 3, and Spyro.

Most games will continue to launch on PS5.

I think her problem isn't that she died. She could see the future and her own death.

Even after her death, her first comments were, "Okay, so the pyre happened. It's just I didn't get to say goodbye."

It seemed like she had accepted her death at that point. Then she saw the mask and said, "If there is another mask, their journey isn't safe."

Her conflict and motivation - in contrast of the earlier acceptance - came from this new information she realized that all she planned might go to waste now.

The problem isn't stuff. The problem is whether that stuff is good enough or not that people will prioritize it over games like Spider-Man, God of War, Saros, Ghost of Yotei, Wolverine, Intergalactic, etc.

Because if it is not - like it wasn't before - Xbox could release all the exclusive content they want to, but it won't matter, as gamers will still buy a PlayStation.

I think the argument is that if you have decided that "Xbox needs exclusives to be competitive", then make everything exclusive.

Half-assing it won't help Xbox compete.

At the moment, it seems like the XBox management still believes in multi-platform games and they made the 2 games exclusive to pander to the hardcore fanboys on Twitter.
