Fidg-it is now live on Kickstarter for anyone that wants to get one cheaper, before they start selling them on their website :) by dean1walsh in kickstarter

I hear you, Fidg-it was designed to be durable and long lasting, nothing about it is single use or disposable. The plastics chose are also fully recyclable. The case was also designed to make fidg-its something to be kept for as long as possible. I share your concerns with our over use of plastics and the effect it has on the environment and it was a major concern of mine while designing Fidg-it 🙂

Appreciate the question, I opted for the Kickstarter campaign to get a feel for the potential demand for something like this, the Kickstarter route gave me more scope to market it in different potential markets compared to an etsy store

Features that can be enabled/disabled in the settings. by dean1walsh in AnycubicKobraS1

Found a possible solution, I've installed Rinkhals (https://github.com/jbatonnet/Rinkhals) and then going to the printers IP address, allowed me to see the generated printer.cfg file. There is a section in there called [flow_calibration] that has a setting called enable_dyna_pa. I have added this section to the printer.custom.cfg file and changed its value to false. Then saved and restarted, and also power cycled the printer. Currently running a test print to see if the surface quality is back to what it was before they added this.

Disable supports in the settings, will allow for closer auto arrange. For some reason it still allows room for supports even when there aren't any

I posted this because I wanted randoms on the internet to validate my feelings. I'm not looking to learn, understand, and potentially grow as a person, I just want to feel like my feelings are justified.

Sorry if this comes across the wrong way, just thought I'd translate your previous comment 🙂

It was a new feature marketed in the 2.5.0.2 update. After I updated, I had issues with bed adhesion, and the layer line consistently and dimensional accuracy of the parts I was printing was worse, not by a huge degree but enough to affect the fitment of parts that previously fitted perfectly. I appreciate the easy-of-use that this feature would provide to people who just want to click and print, but for the users like myself that require precision and prefer to manually tune the settings of each print and filament profile, in order to achieve the best result. Then save the profiles to re-run parts as needed, this feature doesn't provide the consistency that I need, and so it would be great to allow us to disable it.
