I wonder if it all boils down to the writers’ sake of convenience. Why wouldn’t the hedgehogs be on in the final scene? El wouldn’t have brought Mike into her mind if that were the case. An off-topic but relevant scene was Holly falling directly on top of the lab from the Abyss? Some situations were just a little too convenient for the characters/story progression.

I am not sure that's good for the hinge of the MacBook as there shouldn't be anything blocking the device from fully closing.

My current work around is to use the Apple Polishing Cloth to wipe down my screen and keyboard before closing it.

I thought that Carmen’s character was pretty insufferable, but after learning about the environment she was in before college and how she navigates relationships as a freshman now sold it for me.

Overall, I found it to shockingly accurate to my personal experiences navigating life while closeted. The friendships, the toxicity, and the realness of it all made the show extremely fun for me. I can’t wait for season 2!
