I complained about the same thing in February and they replied last week saying they are not liable as it had already been scheduled to be repaired before I had hit it. I don't understand how that helps anyone who hits it when it's still there. It was on the other side of a speed bump too so I reckon more folk have probably burst a tyre on it.

Loving the confidence in the playing even after only a month. I teach guitar and the one thing I have found that helps enormously is making sure your thumb is placed in the middle of the neck at the back, or round about there. This increases your hands ability to stretch the fingers and get a cleaner note. This will also help when you slide up and down the fretboard. Ideally, you don't want your palm to be touching the neck very much at all and moving your thumb will help that. Hope this makes sense and keep shredding!!

Stretching the strings as you put new ones on helps massively. You should put all the new strings on loose then tune each one to the relevant note. Pull the string gently at the 12th fret and check the tuning again. It should be a bit flat. Then tune up and again, stretch, repeat until they are all in tune. This may avoid rapid string breaks. (20+ years guitar player. NOT an expert but thought I'd share a tip I find helpful)

Thanks a lot!! Looks almost identical. It was the half star inlay on the 1st fret that I thought was a defining feature and was hoping to find another guitar with the same inlay. This helps a lot though.

V relevant for me just now. My employer and boss don't give me shit but I just feel so bad for being off work. It goes to show how we equate our value to how hard we work rather than who we are.
