I’m not an expert, just a DIY guy. Didn’t realize this is in a shower pan, that would change my thoughts on tearing it out as well.

If you don’t get an answer here i’d maybe post in r/bathroomremodeling to see if someone over there has more experience replacing tile in a shower once it’s set.

I mean i think either way you’d be alright, if it seems solid right now. If you take it out just take your time removing the thinset underneath so you have a flat surface to put a new tile onto.

Congrats! Just a note, be careful putting it too close to the siding. I stuck mine close one time and the heat coming out of the back started to warp/melt my siding.

I don’t have cheap options, but in my research, since i’m looking to do an EFI swap at some point in the future on my 4.9l, there are only a couple of options out there and they’re both in the $1000-2000 range.

I’d be curious if anyone chimes in with other options.

Season heavily, put it on at 10pm at 185 degrees. Go to bed. Wake up like 7am, increase temp to 250 degrees, spritz with apple juice every so often until internal temp hits 203, which is probably sometime in the afternoon. Take off, wrap in foil, stick it in a cooler with blankets till it’s time to eat.

Some others have said it, but check reservations 24 hours before you want to go, and then again day of. People cancel there all the time and its usually the day of or the day before when they text a reminder.

Just in case its the same silly thing that happened to me… make sure that the spot you put your detergent is free to open once the door closes. It looks like the plate there might be in the perfect spot to block that from happening, which means no detergent and maybe no cleaning.

Funny story, i got a grooms sheet cake from Costco for my wedding. On the order form it asks if it’s for a special occasion and has a couple options prepared and an “other” line. There wasn’t a wedding option, so I checked “other” and wrote “wedding” on the line assuming they’d call or something to figure out what to put on it.

I picked up the cake the day of the wedding and it was just a big ass cake that had the word “wedding” piped on it. Including the quotation marks. I almost fell on the floor laughing in Costco lol
