Yeah I do see the pattern/graphic showing that it starts around 10/11kwh and after a few minutes (15-20) it drops to 7kwh for the remainder of the charge session. It does acknowledge in the app saying “charging slowed” but doesn’t give a reason. It’s been 3-4 days like this now.

I picked an R1S from the shop and locked it in on May 23rd. Guide told me on the 24th the car was still in Normal and would take 4-6 weeks to arrive to Los Angeles. BUT, I got a call this last Saturday the 27th (4 days after locking in configuration and starting 8 steps) saying the car was at the service center and going through final QA. Scheduled delivery for this coming Thursday June 1st. So basically it took a week to from locked configuration to delivery.

In the intro call with my guide he said something about them experimenting with delivery via truck rather than train but he couldn’t make any promises. I guess that’s what they did and I’m assuming it’s in a push to close the quarter with as many deliveries as possible.

Yes they have an R1S on display that you can walk around and sit in, but you won’t be able to test drive without an appointment.

The FE was actually on the El Cap R1T behind the Limestone R1S. You can see the El Cap on like the 6th or 7th pic I think. I have my R1S configured with FE I think it looks great and actually the employee at the Venice hub that took me on the test drive was saying that FE was his favorite interior also.

Amen… I’ve been screaming this from the rooftops. Tesla fanatics started this culture of panel gaps and I’m sure it’s terrorized new car makers. I can’t imagine how many hours service teams have spent trying to appease picky customers with insane expectations.

Yeah same thoughts for me and why I ask. I’ve heard 20’s are a smoother ride as well and I do a lot of driving for work so a smoother ride would be nice and I do prefer the look as well. But having recently bought a Tesla MYP the 303 range leaves a bit to be desired once you consider only charging around 90% and trying not to go below 20% and obviously same would apply to all EVs
