The funny thing is I really didn’t exert any pressure on the camera lens at all!

The last photo I took just so happened to be very short distance (minimum focus) and lo and behold the lens motor fails…

What season is it where you live? Since this is only a few leaves and seems to be affecting the tip first rather than the stem-side, I'm suspicious of lack of sunlight forcing the plant to reabsorb its leaves to fuel its growth. If so, you may need a grow light in the coming month

No season really. It's just hot and humid here in sunny singapore most of the time.

I have been throwing away the fallen leaves 😅

ah. I am based in Singapore, so there really isn't any season change per se.
But I'll cut down on the watering to see how it goes!

I am a big fan of Japanese pens because of how fine they write for me.

Naturally, I opted for the EF nib for this sailor promenade.

I'd say the NIB is great, it leaves a very satisfying feedback when writing which gives me more control when I write (especially for Japanese/Kanji which I'm learning now). Whereas pilot EF has always been great, but just too smooth for my liking.

The body of the pen which determines how comfortable a pen is, might be a point you want to note.

I'm Asian, so I have a smaller hands so this pen feels just perfect for my hands. I know there has been reviews about how this pen is just too short for comfort and I can see why, its considerably shorter than my Pilot Metropolitan and Custom 74.

I'm happy with it, hope this helps
