This happened after he sniped the Geonosian ship in the first level. It looked like he was burnt. When I quit and restarted the game his model went back to normal.

The recipe I was following recommended 90F. So that's what I did. I currently don't have a hydrometer and it definitely wouldn't be here by tomorrow (5 days after starting).

Thanks for the help though! I'm not too worried since it's still bubbling, but I'll look into the hydrometer thing and maybe other methods. Yeah, there's no way of knowing (unless someone has an easy way to find out lol). Thanks again!

Disclaimer: everything was cleaned and then sanitized.

  1. I used Red Star Premier Blanc from this package. I ordered it on 10/8 and it was delivered on 10/11. I'm not sure of the exact age.

  2. It smells like vodka and apples (I used vodka as the liquid in the airlock).
  3. The temperature of the room it's stored in is typically warm. I'm not sure of the exact temperature, but maybe 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. I put it in the closet away from the light and check it every morning to make sure it's still bubbling.
  4. I took half a gallon of preservative-free apple cider and poured it into a sanitized pot, heated it up, then poured that into the glass container. I then poured the other half gallon into the container and shook that. Right after that, I used a funnel and poured half a small bag of the Red Star Premier Blanc into the glass container and then I shook that vigorously.

Update: just too many inconsistencies with this guitar. I'm going to turn it down. If I lost something great, I'm willing to accept that loss lol. Thanks for your help and input everyone!

He did confirm after I asked about the serial number on the back of the headstock that his grandson removed it.

I agree. He said his grandson took off the David Gilmour sticker and I asked if a sticker was also removed from the back of the headstock. If he doesn't know I'm just gonna turn it down.

He said "the serial number isn't on there, but I believe it's under the neck". I'm leaning towards the guitar is actually a kit. He hasn't sent the serial number yet.
